Hello friends
Hope you are all good!
I think summer has finally arrived here in the UK....not sure for how long,
but I'm going to make the most of it!!
Its been a busy few days here, lots going on, theres just not enough hours in the day!
(I always seem to be constantly chasing my tail!)
Whoohoo....and the summer holidays are nearly here (YIPPEE!) working in a school really does have its perks... we get to have a much needed long summer break
I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time with my family and friends....
( I just love the summer!)
Anyway I wanted to share very quickly
a vintage inspired make that I recently made....
I adore this image from Tim Holtz, Found Relatives (Occasions)
and knew I had to use it, the Idea-ology frame fits around it perfectly
I scratched away at the photo to create a more worn look
I used sizzix thinlits (wildflowers) cut out in black card.
I created lots of layers using stencils and texture paste, along with lots of stitching
I also used an original bank invoice from 1915 and stamped onto it using a stamp from the correspondence set (Tim Holtz) along with an old key from my stash
I then photographed it in a vintage box file,
(the metal clip holds it all in place)
I hope you like it?
As always feel free to leave a comment, I appreciate each one
I'm off to enjoy the sun.....
Happy Holidays!
