Guest Post for ALL & Create

Hello friends 

I really hope you are all staying healthy and safe 

in this very scary world that we are all living in....

Today I will be sharing the last of my Guest Design posts for AALL & Create.

I would like to send a big thank you to Abs (Autour de Mwa) for inviting me to be a guest designer for these last few months...I have really enjoyed guesting, along with the creating with their lovely team and products.

So for my last make I decided to use a mini journal ( these are available from (flying tiger)

I used an old envelope as a base along with some corrugated card.

Using a tag I stamped with embossing ink and added white embossing powder and heat set.

I then added some distress inks ( walnut stain and fossilized amber)

I then took some kitchen paper and lay it over the tag....taking an iron I pressed down on the kitchen paper so the heat removed the embossing powder.

You are left with a lovely worn distressed  look....perfect for the stamps I selected.

I  stamped some of the flowers from the daisy elegance set and cut them into strips, which I then stitched into....I wanted to show that you don't have to always use the whole of the stamped image.

To finish I added some vintage lace and a frame.
