Hello friends
Hope you are all good,
Wow, it’s been a while since I last blogged…
I’m still hanging in here, hoping to try and get back into the swing of things,
Life’s just busy, it really gets in the way doesn’t it?
But really hope to try and be better at being here more...
(btw, do people still read blogs?)
Anyway, I thought I’d share a little make I did today…
I was really inspired by Seth Apter’s live feed the other evening,
showcasing his new release with Paperartsy…
I’ve always loved Seth’s grungy style and
before I knew it I’d purchased paint, tissue paper and stamps!
So I put them to use to create this panel hanging…
I created a base layer with inky pool, which I then applied gesso over the top.
The tissue paper is such great value, you get 4 huge sheets in a pack,
I used the tiny tree and tore some patterns to add to my background.
Seth has released some new fresco paints, I only bought one, but now I think I may need more!
I used this lovely rusty colour to add some grungy drips, it’s translucent so great for this.
I then used the new stamp mini
To finish I layered it to some crunchy wax paper and sewed around the edges and mounted it to some board, added rusty wire to create a hanging.
I bought my supplies from The Stampers Grove here in the UK, great service!
Anyway enough of my rambles…
Hope you like it,
I’ll try and post again in the near future…
Have a lovely evening
Kaz x
