Journal scrap page

Hello Maker’s, 

I hope you are good… I’ve been missing a for a few weeks. as life’s been busy! My daughter is home from university for the summer, so we’ve been busy moving her back, hopefully just one more trip🤞

Just a quickie post to share a journal page…I felt that I needed some time to journal and to to just play, this page was mainly created with scraps …. I keep a shoe box full of gel prints, offcuts, old book pages, tags, etc I try not to throw anything away! It’s great to have a look through and I love finding little bits & bobs that I can use in my art journal. 

I also finally got a chance to try the new vintage tape from Tim Holtz a new favourite  I also used one of the new cast from the Photo booth collection and tissue.  The number on the photo from Dina Wakley ledger words.  The words are a snippet from an old book and I painted with PaperArtsy fresco acrylics on my gel plate  The green pattern paper is from a vintage book.
