Ok so here's my first sample...
I started with a framed panel, , the actual frame was painted using gesso and distress paints, I sanded it back to give a shabby look and sealed it using vintage collage medium.
The background was created using Tim's Memoranda papers, I created lots of torn papers then glued them in place, again using the collage medium.
When the papers were dry I then stencilled Distress grit paste through one of Tim's stencils (THS020)
When the paste had completely dried by itself, I used distress crayons and distress paints to give it a worn/vintage look.
I then got to use the fabulous new Aviary collage paper!
This Collage paper is so much fun!
I cut the two birds and foliage out and using the collage brushes & collage medium, then decoupaged the collage paper onto the the torn background.
The final part was to add some of the Idea-ology embellishments, I added one of the new measurements metal rulers, sitting one of the paper dolls on top of it and then added the word band.
The stars were painted with distress paint, I added the words from the Clippings stickers and that lovely door lock is a new release too!
Here it is on display in the Idea-ology booth!
I covered the box in papers and distressed it, part of the new releases are the baseboard frames which can be used over the top of the vignette boxes....
I added another metal 'Measurements"ruler to the base, followed by a section of Milk caps.
The Quote token is also another new release and another new favourite of mine.
The paper doll is a new member to the dolls, I added him some butterfly wings from the botanical ephemera pack.
To finish the box I painted up some of the finials and added some mini keys to the base and added one of the new Mini Hardware pulls to the frame....
I really hope you like what I created, Thank you so much for popping by....
