Hello friends
Hope you are good!
Today I'm sharing another sample from the Tim Holtz Halloween Release...
This time I used some of the Idea-ology Vignette boxes
and created a front and back story.
I used some of the bones to make a fence by threading rusty wire through them, I also popped out an eye and added it to the skull.I added lots of layers, bottles, trinkets all form Idea-ology
I even made some bone brads to add to the word chips...
This is the reverse side of the box
Again lots of layers from the Halloween ephemera packs/wings and I coloured some of the bandage using distress oxides
The main box was then finished by screwing it to another smaller box
This was so much fun to make and I loved to add all the layers to it
The Halloween Idea-ology os now shipping from Art from the Heart
check them out here
Please do leave a comment I really do appreciate them
Have a great week

So so so creepy cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy blog posts, in general, because I hope that makers will share a few details about the "how do you do that." We all want to be better and sharing ideas is a way for those of us without the "creativity gene" to improve and learn. I saw the survey on IG, I fear blog posts will be falling by the wayside everywhere. I will miss yours, in particular; it has always been a favorite.
ReplyDeleteBut back to your make... I love the darkness in your vignette, that particular female paperdoll is especially creepy! The details and the back of the box are wonderful. I so enjoyed it on the FB post, but also would enjoy focus on a part or two for the "how to," although pictures are great, they just can't tell the whole story. I love the the way you inspire different ways to use the idea-ology items. So magical and creepy, thank you!
Fantastic piece! So much detail that you have to look multiple times to take it all in. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun project...sick, but fun!!! lol
ReplyDeleteThis is beautifully scary!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteIt's really gorgeous !! can you tell me which pack of characters did you use ? and also there are not the layers, bottles, trinkets in the shop, do you think they will receive it . Thank you for your answer in advance, i really love all your creations !
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful details! Love the bone fence row and how you decorated both front and back. Perfectly grungy, too!
