February - fly away

Hello friends
I hope you are all good!
A very quick post today to share this little notebook
The actually notebook is from a shop here in the UK called Flying Tiger,
(I love this shop, it's a little like ikea but sells lots of stationary and household stuff that you don't really need but you end up buying it because you realize yes you do need it and spend a small fortune in the process !)

\
I brayered on some gesso then added some crackle paste....

When it had dried I added colour using Paperartsy Infusions, they give a really cool grainy wash of colour that works perfectly into the crackle paste.
I then added the found relatives by Tim Holtz and gave them some of the new Idea-ology wings
(Thanks to mylovely friend zoe for gifting me them!)

To finish,  I added some stitching, the stars and the words....
As always feel free to leave a comment, thanks in advance
Have a great week!

  7. Ohhh, loving that crackle Kaz and the colour tones really make it stand out. The wings are such a lovely touch too. I think I am glad we don't have the Flying Tiger anywhere nearby, the stores do look slightly addictive! Hugs, Anne xx
