Hello friends...
I hope you are good...
Sorry I've been missing for a few weeks,
I've been quite poorly but hopefully I'm now finally on the mend!
Today I wanted to share with you a very quick make, this grungy notebook....
The notebooks are from a shop here in the UK called "Flying Tiger"they stock some lovely book blanks, perfect for giving them a new unique look.
I was inspired by this old barn door that I took a photograph of while out walking....
I loved the worn paintwork and wanted to try and create something similar.
I used Ranger ink's Manila card stock as its perfect for adding lots of layers to.
I started by brayering gesso and fresco paints (Paperartsy)
I then added lots of layers of archival ink, infusions, oxides and crackle medium to
get a cool grungy look
The Number five is from Tim Holtz Idea-ology-stencil chips, which I sewed into the cover
The words are also from Idea-ology range...
As always feel free to leave a comment...I appreciate you passing by
Hopefully spring is on its way....look forward to sharing another make with you very soon
Have a great day!
