Hello friends
I hope you are are all good!
Today I'm sharing with you an Etcetera tag and trims....
Ive been so inspired by so many friends using this set of stamps that I thought I would have a go too...
check out more inspiration from some very talented friends here...
Igirlzoe - Ooodles of inspiration, keep scrolling down zoe's blog, she's the master of these sets!
Emma Williams - so much incredible detail!
Kath stewart -kath has some really cool looks with the professor... love them all
Anne Redfern - Anne is the master of Mini Albums, this one is not to be missed...
I started by creating a background using distress oxides, Tim Holtz has 12 new colours to choose from, check out his blog here for more details.
I used cracked pistachio, mermaid lagoon, fired brick and some walnut stain distress ink.
I then stamped in distress hickory smoke archival using the Fragments (CMS368) set from Stampers Anonymous.... it gives such a beautiful flourished background.
I then stamped using The Professor (CMS373) and accessorised his outfit with the Distinguished set (CMS371) again Stampers anonymous.
I then added some ideology and some ephemera
The Etcetera trims are perfect for adding a little ledge for the tags so you can add those extra details... I coloured mine used delusions paint in slate grey to colour mine as the paint is perfect to paint onto the trim, you only need one coat.
I really enjoyed putting this tag together... the stamps are so much fun with all the different options, be sure to check out my friends blogs too for more inspiration.
Art from the Heart stock all the Tim Holtz products and much more, hop over here to check them out
In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment I really do appreciate them, have yourselves a lovely week!
bye for now

I really love your blog posts and prefer them over the social media sites, although I peruse those sites too.
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued with the background and love the color and subtle design. And the Professor, such a great stamp set! A magnificent tag with all the details and design elements!
The Professor is looking Mie-TEE-fine here on your tag! I love your gorgeous background and all those details! You've inspired me to finally crack open my Professor set and get to work! And you are so right about those talented ladies listed at the beginning of your post--creative genius' is what they are!
